Within the scope of your business (Building and Public Works, Automotive, etc…), you may have batches of new or used window glass, broken or not.
You may also have glazing glass to be removed due to a demolition or renovation of a site, or a regular or occasional batch of automotive glass.
We offer you collection and recycling solutions for this flat glass, thus avoiding its disposal in technical landfill sites.
SOLOVER provides glass bins of different volumes on a one-off or annual basis, which will be collected by us with a crane or by substitution when they are full. We can also collect your flat glass directly from your own equipment or storage areas.
You can of course also deliver your glass directly to one of our 5 sites in France, after validation of our conditions.
While household glass recycling is automatic for French people, with more than 2 million tonnes collected and 85% of glass recycled in 2017, the same cannot be said for flat glass from the construction and automotive sectors. Every year, more than 200,000 tonnes end up in landfills. This glass is just as recyclable as others. It is only more difficult to process because it is securely embedded in window frames, covered with metal or plastic layers, contaminated by sealants or, in the case of the automotive industry, laminated for safety. All these additional materials make recycling more complex and can affect the quality of the final glass.
