Glass, whether it comes from packaging waste, building or automotive industry, is endlessly recyclable.
Simple facts are glass recycling reduces the amount of waste sent to landfill sites. The glass, after being processed, becomes cullet which is used as a raw material in the glass industry.
This recycled raw material also saves use of primary resources and reduces carbon emissions. Furthermore, the energy required to melt cullet is much less than that required when using silica.
Thanks to the high ecological value of its recycled product, SOLOVER has been optimizing its commitment towards the environment, as evidenced by its environment policy:
Our site in St Romain le Puy is ISO 14001 certified
This environmental certification, obtained in 2004 and regularly renewed, is the result of SOLOVER’s voluntary approach to promote its commitment to protect the environment.
